The following is a poem from my new collection available on www.amazon.com titled 'The Glazed Bowl' - price $2.99 by Anuradha Rajkumari.
Another World
Off and on when
The heart rules the head,
storms upset
Calm of the deep recess
within
Language loses meaning,
feelings
No longer end in pulse
beats
But a will to be
In the stillness of
another world.
Where nine to five jobs do
not
For people give bread
only, but joy
That is found in an oyster
When the waves on the
seashore recede
And a pearl impatiently
waits to be discovered.
Long queues and plastic
mannequins
Nor any space age
paraphernalia
Stay a baggage on my side
To break placidity of
communion of
My head with my heart in
that world.
